Eucharistic Ministers

We invite parishioners to consider serving as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, a much-needed ministry in our parish. As our community grows and with the addition of the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass, we are in need of more ministers for Saturday 4 p.m., Sunday 9 a.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. Masses.

This ministry focuses on serving during Mass only. If you are already attending Mass, this is a simple and meaningful way to take part more fully in the liturgy by helping distribute the Body and Blood of Christ with reverence and care.

Training and formation are provided, and schedules are flexible. Serving as an Extraordinary Minister is a beautiful way to be present, engaged, and active in the celebration of the Eucharist.

If you feel called to serve in this role, we encourage you to step forward. To learn more or to join this ministry, please contact Jody Watermann.

Lectors

We invite parishioners to consider serving as Lectors, a vital ministry that proclaims the Word of God during Mass. As our parish continues to grow, especially with the addition of the 11 a.m. At Sunday Mass, we have a strong need for more lectors at all weekend liturgies, including Saturday at 4 p.m., Sunday at 9 a.m., and 11 a.m. Masses.

Lectors play a crucial role in the liturgy by giving voice to Sacred Scripture and helping the assembly to hear and reflect on God’s Word. This ministry is a meaningful way to be actively involved in the Mass and to serve the parish through prayerful preparation and proclamation.

If you are looking for a way to participate more fully in the life of the Church, we encourage you to join the Lector Ministry. Training and support are provided, and your willingness to serve makes a real difference in our worship as a parish family.

Your voice is needed. We invite you to step forward and help proclaim the Word at St. Joseph Parish.

Altar Servers

The Altar Server Ministry invites young parishioners in 5th grade and above to take an active role in the beauty and reverence of the Catholic Mass. Altar servers assist the priest at the altar, helping the liturgy flow with dignity while learning the sacred rhythms and traditions of our faith.

Serving at the altar is a meaningful way to grow closer to the Mass, deepen understanding of the Church, and build confidence through responsibility and service. Altar servers are entrusted with an important role and are formed in teamwork, respect, and prayer.

This ministry is a wonderful opportunity for young people who feel called to be more involved in parish life and to serve God in a visible and reverent way. We invite students and families to consider this ministry as a way to participate fully in the life of the Church and to experience the beauty of the Mass from a unique and special place.

If you are in 5th grade or above and ready to serve, we welcome you to join the Altar Server Ministry and be part of this sacred tradition.

Guadalupana Society

The Guadalupana Society has been a faithful and cherished part of St. Joseph Parish for generations, rooted in a deep devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe and a strong commitment to faith, family, and service. This ministry continues to enrich parish life through prayer, cultural traditions, and acts of service that unite our community across generations.

Members of the Guadalupana Society play an active role throughout the year, especially in celebrations honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe. Through liturgical support, hospitality, and shared prayer, they help keep traditions alive while welcoming new members into a spirit of unity and devotion.

This is both a living legacy and an open invitation. The Guadalupana Society welcomes parishioners who feel called to grow in faith, honor Our Blessed Mother, and serve the parish together. Whether you have been part of these traditions for years or are discovering them for the first time, there is a place for you.

We invite you to join this meaningful ministry and help carry forward a beautiful tradition of faith and service at St. Joseph Parish.

This ministry is about stewardship and service. Parishioners of all ages come together, offering whatever skills they have and whatever time they can give. You do not need to be a professional or retired to be part of this group. If you have a willingness to help and a desire to give back to the parish, you are welcome.

Working side by side, many hands make light work, and together this ministry makes extraordinary things happen. It is a meaningful way to serve God, build friendships, and take pride in caring for our beautiful parish home.

 Communion to the Homebound

The Communion to the Homebound Ministry serves parishioners who are unable to attend Mass due to illness, age, or limited mobility. Through this ministry, trained volunteers bring the Eucharist to those at home, in hospitals, or in care facilities, offering prayer, companionship, and the comfort of Christ’s presence.

We invite parishioners to consider serving in this ministry as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, sharing their time and faith with those who are no longer able to come to church. We also welcome requests from individuals or families who would like the Eucharist brought to a loved one or to themselves during a time of illness or recovery.

This ministry is a beautiful way to stay connected as a parish family, ensuring that no one is separated from the grace of the Sacraments.

PADS Ministry at St. Joseph Parish

On the first Sunday of each month, volunteers come together to prepare and share a meal, offer hospitality, and show respect and care to every guest. This ministry is a simple and meaningful way to live the Gospel through presence, service, and compassion.

There are many ways to participate. You can serve in person, donate food items, or prepare a homemade dish. Every role matters, and every act of kindness brings hope to someone in need.

We invite you to join us in this work of mercy and serve alongside fellow parishioners as Christ’s hands and feet in our community.
